Research Postgraduate Symposia

Last year we celebrated our 8th annual Spring Symposium. In 2008 the Department created the Spring symposium to provide an annual occasion on which graduates in history and cognate disciplines from our University and others join together to present their original research in a professional manner.

Since then graduate students from departments across the globe have attended and presented their work. The Spring Symposium provides opportunities for students to outline their intended contributions to their chosen fields, and disciplines, and to hone presentation skills. The event is a showcase of the value of graduate education.
